Q: What is the WWII swing dinner dance?
A: The Dixie Wing annual swing dinner dance is a recreation of a WWII hangar dance, complete with
live band, swing dance lessons, and a BBQ meal.

A: The dance is Sat, April 9th, 6pm
Q: Where is the dance?
A: The WWII Swing Dinner Dance will be held at the Historic Airpower
Facility at Falcon Field in Peachtree City, GA. Click

Q: How much are tickets?
A: Advance tickets are $50 per couple or $30/person. $40/person at
the door.
Q: Will alcohol be served and is it included with admission?
A: Beer only, and yes it is an open bar.
Q: Is the meal included in the ticket price?
A: Yes.
Q: How can I purchase tickets?
A: Tickets can be ordered online using paypal (will be held at will call).

A: Tickets can be purchased with cash, check or credit card.
Q: What kind of music will they play at the dance?
A: they will recreate the "big band" sound of the 1940s.

CAF is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to preserving WWII aircraft and
teaching WWII history. The Dixie Wing CAF is a resource for teachers, scout troops and

Q: What is the Commemorative Air Force?
A: The Commemorative Air Force is a national non-profit organization dedicated to
preserving WWII aircraft and teaching WWII history. The CAF is based is based in Texas,
however there are 75 chapters and nearly 10,000 members across the nation. Find

Q: Why is the Dixie Wing CAF presenting the dance?
A: To raise money for "Education Through Living History"

A: Education Through Living History" is the preservation of WWII aircraft and
teaching WWII history in our hangar facility.

A: YES. The Dixie Wing CAF Historic Airpower Facility is available for tours free of charge.
Special events can be booked for a fee by calling the hangar (678-364-1110).
Q: Why did the Commemorative Air Force change its name?
A: The CAF changed its name to reflect (1) its mission to preserve WWII aircraft and teach
history and (2) national scope of the organization.
Q: Can anyone become a member of the Dixie Wing?
A: The Dixie Wing is made up of people from all walks of life who share a passion for
preserving WWII aircraft and teaching. We have pilots, veterans, mechanics, families,
professionals and students. We even have cadet program for high school students.
Q: How can I learn more about the Dixie wing?
A: Come to our hangar at falcon field. We also have monthly meetings every
